- How do I get my ticket?
- It is emailed to you as a PDF with a QR code as soon as the booking is confirmed, straight away on a free event and the moment the payment clears on a paid one, usually within a minute. Nothing needs to be printed, door staff scan the code off your phone. If it has not arrived, check your spam folder and then mail hello@aetherpass.co.za and we will resend it.
- How do I pay?
- Free events skip payment altogether, you claim the ticket with your name and email. Paid events take card and instant EFT, plus the other methods Paystack supports in South Africa, and card details are entered on Paystack's own page where they never reach AetherPass.
- Are there any extra fees?
- No. What the ticket says is what it costs. Free tiers are free, paid prices on an event page are inclusive, and the order summary shows the full total before you are sent to pay. Nothing is added at the payment step and nothing is charged afterwards.
- Can I get tickets for friends?
- Yes. Take as many as the event allows per person, usually five, and put each ticket in a friend's name and email at checkout, or hold them and assign them later from your order page. Everyone gets their own scannable ticket, and a ticket can be handed to someone else after that too.
- Can I get a refund?
- You can cancel at any time under section 47 of the Consumer Protection Act. A cancellation fee applies and grows as the event gets closer, with the balance refunded to the card you paid with, normally within 10 working days. If the organiser cancels or moves the event, you get everything back with no fee. The refund policy lists the fee at each stage.
- Do I need an account?
- No. A name and an email address are all it takes, and your order stays reachable through the link in your confirmation email. Accounts exist for organisers and door staff, not for attendees.
